Annual Convention for Sons of the American Legion

This Father’s Day Weekend the Sons of the American Legion Washington State Detachment met for their annual convention in Cle Elum, Washington. Despite some administrative and procedural challenges, the Washington State SAL held an informal but productive meeting.

Bellingham Squadron 7 members were very well represented. Our folks ranged from long time active members and prospective leaders to first timer attendees. The Albert J Hamilton Post 7 SAL Squadron earned a 100% membership certificate and accompanied ribbon. You can view this certificate and ribbon hanging on the SAL wall at your next Post visit.

As many of you know the Albert J Hamilton Post 7 American Legion has a very active and engaged SAL program. In fact there are very few Bellingham Legion activities and events that don’t involve the Albert J Hamilton Post 7 SAL program. From dinners and special activities to parade participation, our Squadron 7 members are making a difference at our Post and beyond. At the next SAL hosted event be sure to thank our Sons of the American Legion Squadron 7 for their service to our Post and to the Veteran community.
